Not just a portrait…

Somewhere between stillness and movement, between memory and moment—that’s where my work lives.

I’ve always been drawn to the in-between.

The quiet pauses. The unspoken emotions. The moments that don’t ask for attention, but hold the most meaning.

Art became the place I could hold those things. A way to slow down what feels fleeting, and give it weight.

I work primarily in graphite, creating hand-drawn portraits on 300gsm paper—built slowly, layer by layer. There’s something honest about graphite. No colour to hide behind. Just light, shadow, depth… and whatever truth reveals itself in the process.

My pieces aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence. About capturing something real—something felt—whether it’s softness, strength, tension, or stillness.

This work is personal to me.

It comes from a life lived deeply, where I’ve learned that the most powerful moments aren’t always the loud ones—they’re the ones that sit quietly in your chest and stay with you.

That’s what I’m drawn to. And that’s what I create for.

This isn’t just art to fill a space. It’s something to return to. Something to feel.
